Adventure Rules & Guidelines
How we keep our community safe, reliable, and fun.
๐ค
The Golden Rule: Commitment
Adventures are built on trust. When you join an adventure, you are making a promise to the organizer and your fellow adventurers. Reliability is the core of our community.
Phase 1
๐ฑ Recruiting Phase
Before the adventure is confirmed. New adventures start in this phase.
- โExpress interest to apply for any adventure.
- โOnce interested, chat with the organizer and view each other's past adventures and reviews โ access is mutual.
- โThe organizer can approve or reject your application.
- โBoth organizer and participants can leave freely โ no reputation impact.
- ๐Privacy: Only basic info visible before approval. After approval, full profiles and chat with all approved members (if their privacy allows).
Phase 2
๐ฅ Confirmed Phase
The adventure is officially ON! The system auto-transitions through Confirmed, Ongoing, and Completed stages.
- !Commitment is locked โ leaving is not available for all participants.
- !Late-joining is still possible, but you cannot withdraw once you join.
- โThe Organizer is fully committed and cannot cancel.
- โFull access: Chat with all approved members, view full profiles, and leave reviews once the adventure reaches a certain stage!
- ๐ปNo-Show Policy: If you ghost the group, it's not the end of the world... but your reputation score might take a spooky hit! ๐
โ๏ธ Limits & Fairness
Active Adventure Limit
To ensure everyone can participate, you can have a maximum of 5 active adventures at a time (whether you are organizing or joining).
Time Conflicts
You are not encouraged to double-book yourself. This applies to all joins, including late-joining confirmed adventures. If dates overlap with an active adventure, you'll be warned.
